Supporting Families: 20 New Transitional Units with Door of Hope

Jorgensen Reeve Builders (JRB) is excited to be the contractor for Door of Hope's newest project, which will provide 20 transitional housing units for families experiencing homelessness in Pasadena. Named the David and Katherine Lee Home, this facility will include en suite bathrooms, independent cooking stations, and shared dining and living spaces, creating a supportive environment for families' unity.

It aims to address a critical need, as family homelessness in Pasadena increased by 46% in 2024. This will be Door of Hope’s largest shelter to date, addressing the growing demand for family housing as waiting lists continue to expand at their current shelters. The groundbreaking ceremony was an exciting milestone in this journey, and we are blessed to work alongside Door of Hope in transforming this former residence.

Stay tuned for updates as the project progresses.  Looking to learn more about Door of Hope and their work? Visit www.doorofhope.us.
