Hollywood is getting another makeover on Sunset Blvd. We have just kicked off a remodeling project for the ultra exclusive Soho House in West Hollywood. These private membership clubs were started with the original Soho House in London in 1995 and now, they have grown to 14 houses located in the UK, Berlin, Istanbul, New York, Miami, Chicago and Toronto.

Unlike other club concepts, which often focus on wealth and status, the Soho Houses main mission is to create a comfortable home for a community of like-minded, creative people, wherever they are. Soho House members have now come to expect a private, relaxed environment – basically, a home away from home.

Formerly known as the Luckman Plaza, 9200 Sunset is a commercial office building at the west end of the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. Charles Luckman had originally built this building for his company in 1964. However, during the 1970’s, he decided to add on a penthouse for his family to live in. In 2006, Luckman ended up selling the space, and, after a few renovations, the Soho House West Hollywood was created in the top two floors that were originally the Penthouse.

That brings us to present day. We are currently in progress of remodeling the 4,100 sq. ft. space and helping it rebrand as:

  • The Luckman Lounge – A live performance room inspired by the original 1970’s décor
  • Nava Bar/Kitchen – This will add a 2nd kitchen, as well as 2 bars
  • Nava Lounge – A reconfiguration and facelift to the current diner space

We are conscientious of our client’s need to have the restaurant, bar and lounge operational while we work. Therefore, all the work is being done during late evening and early morning hours. We will keep you posted as we go along, but we are extremely excited to be a part of this project.
