Equinox continues to expand its presence in the fitness center market. Known for some of the most luxurious sports clubs, Jorgensen-Reeve Builders (JRB) is proud to have worked on some of these high profile projects. Our latest project for Equinox has brought us back to the San Francisco area once again. JRB is the General Contractor for the remodel of the Market Street location – one of the company’s flagship sports clubs that sits adjacent to the Four Seasons hotel. Spanning 3 floors and 127,000 Square Feet, this location features a restaurant, cafe and hair salon. It also boasts a state of the art basketball court where NBA teams practice when they are in town to play the Golden State Warriors.

Renovations will take place across all 3 levels of the fitness center. The finishes in several areas will be upgraded, along with lighting improvements throughout. The locker rooms will also receive a face lift. JRB will be phasing the work strategically so that the gym can remain open and functional during the remodel process. The entire renovation will be finished about 1 year from now.

-JRB has also worked at the San Mateo Equinox location; the Pine St. fitness center; the Westlake Village club, where we are getting ready to start another round of work; and the recently finished Huntington Beach gym.

Another project we are happy to showcase is the Glendora Shopping Center that we are the Construction Manager on. JRB is working with Champion Real Estate on this job to remodel the existing space. Click HERE for more info on the deal. An old Ralph’s grocery store will be converted into a multi-tenant location, featuring a Sprouts and a Marshalls, along with a handful of other small tenants. The developer is also adding 2 pads (6,000 Square Feet) for future tenant use.

Champion will be featured in the Fall issue of DDC Magazine, and JRB will be mentioned in the article as a key member of their team. We are proud to be solidifying a solid business relationship with their team.
