Southern California Golf Association

The Southern California Golf Association was founded in 1899 to serve golfers and businessmen who were moving into the Los Angeles area at the time. Jorgensen Reeve was the construction manager for their recent office remodel. Located in Studio City, the 9,978 square foot SCGA office was a full interior demo and remodel, exterior remodel with enhancements and new parking lot. The office was upgraded with multiple new office spaces, conference rooms, lounges and break room. From new open office space, custom wall finishes to custom millwork. The addition of custom-built trophy cabinets allows SCGA to display their many awards and trophies from their major amateur golf tournaments in the SGCA region. One of the coolest features of the project was the build out and installation of the Golf Simulator room. The Simulator room features a state-of-the-art golf simulator allowing for training and adjustment to a golfer’s game or just a way to enjoy a few rounds without leaving the office. Overall SCGA was another unique project with different challenges that Jorgensen Reeve enjoyed being a part of along with Hendy Architects and Gluck Building Company.

Construction Management-
  • In Barstow, the 37,000 square foot parking lot and 6,400 square foot, multi-tenant building was successfully completed. The project was finished on schedule and allowed the successful transition of the tenants moving in to perform their T.I work.
  • In Oxnard, the new 2-acre site project, at the Shopping at the Rose Center, has broken ground. The project features demo of a 7,600 square foot building, new building pads for future Raising Cane and Chase Bank, upgraded wet & dry utilities, landscaping, and hardscape parking lot amenities.
  • Indio continues with Parcel 4a, a 2,400 square foot future Arbys restaurant. The building is up, roof installed, exterior stucco finished, and site utilities are currently being run. Exterior finishes are set to begin, along with the installation of site M.E.P and grease interceptor.
  • Just down the road from this project, is the Street “A” road extension and Spectrum St. project. Street “A” will take what is currently a non-existent road and upgrade to fully function street that bridges the existing East end of Walmart to the East end of another multi-acre commercial site. Street “A” is one of many projects in the expansion and development of the multi-acre Indio project site, which includes a recently completed Hampton Inn, future Maya Theater, EOS Gym and multi-tenant building.
It is our passion to work with great teams, and on projects that challenge us to come up with out of the box solutions, in order to create a successful project. These projects allow Jorgensen Reeve to showcase our versatility, whether site development, ground up commercial, or tenant improvement projects.
