We have just had the pleasure of finishing up an exciting project in downtown Los Angeles – Acne Studios. The 5,000 square foot boutique located in the historic Art Deco Eastern Columbia Building on Broadway is the company’s largest store in the world (and its second stateside location).
The project was a great experience and gave us the opportunity to work with an international team of architects, designers and contractors. We successfully delivered the vision of the Swedish based Acne group. For more, visit the project page.
The Acne interior design features a unique design and layout, including a mix of pink terrazzo floors, blue carpets and aluminum structures; this reflects a new store design concept for the brand. There is also a “Giant triple mushroom.” There’s a warren of private and semiprivate shopping and alcoves accented with stainless steel.
Acne – Grand Opening and Dinner Party
The store had an evening grand opening party and dinner, where several celebrities and esteemed guests came to see the latest Acne had to offer. The dinner was hosted by our friends over at the brand new Ace Hotel. Check out the photos.
