Hello Everyone,

Spring has sprung and the grass has grown. Hello folks it’s been awhile since our last blast, and so much has been happening! We have had our best rainy season on record in quite a long time, and now we’re looking forward to the sunshine and warmer weather of spring and summer.  We’re coming to an end on some current projects, we’ve begun construction on Monrovia Train Depot, and continue our construction management endeavors with our clients.

Serenade

Our ground up & T.I project in the Riverpark section of Oxnard is nearing its end.  We’ve finished the interior of the project which includes a new gym, offices, lounge, game room, restrooms and the 2 lane bowling alley. The bowling alley is now up and running, ready for   gutter balls and strikes! Serenade has been a fantastic project and one of our most unique ones, from the finishes, to the game room & gym, to the custom millwork and of course the bowling alley with its very own great white shark mural. The final phase of the project will be finishing the landscape, completion of the pergola & pool cabana, and new finishes for the pool itself. With all of these finishes combined, Serenade at Riverpark is the most unique complex in the Riverpark area, and stands out as a model of high quality, upscale, multi-family family dwellings.

Monrovia

We have officially broken ground and construction is currently underway at the Monrovia Train Depot. The project consists of a much needed interior/exterior renovation of the existing depot building, in keeping with a historical aesthetic and allowing for a future T.I restaurant kitchen. We’re also building a new, ground up, canopy structure that will allow for future outdoor seating space for the future T.I. restaurant. The existing depot was built in 1926 and has sat vacant since 1972, the restoration and addition of the canopy are a much needed facelift, and will be a great addition to the current Station Square area.

On the construction management front, Champion Real Estate has acquired a 9.5 million dollar retail property in Echo Park. Champion (of Champion-Wilson) acquired the 19,772 square foot retail property along with 36,049 square feet of land in the thriving Echo Park   neighborhood. Champion’s intent is to take the existing property and transform it into a collection of eclectic & distinct restaurants and residential lofts under the name “BrickWorks”.  Stay tuned to see what develops next for this alluring new project.
